My name is Watsemba Immaculate a graduate of Makerere University and I joined MEMPROW in 2019. As a MEMPROW girl, I have undergone different pieces of training like Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), Leadership and Advocacy sessions, Understanding Gender, Patriarchy and Violence, Personal Empowerment, Counselling and Guidance sessions. These pieces of training have helped to change my view about myself and how I can make an impact on society, for instance, I gained the courage to run for several leadership positions while at Campus and outside the Campus. I have also been able to encourage other youths more especially girls to take up leadership positions. MEMPROW helped me change the views about how society perceives us as women and girls in society and the different norms and values accustomed to women and girls.
