Capacity Building
Our Capacity Building program is expertly designed to enhance the skills and competencies of young women and girls, empowering them to take on leadership roles and actively participate in various community and organizational initiatives. We provide comprehensive training in essential areas such as personal and organizational management, communication, Advocacy equipping young women with critical skills to increase their employability, enhance their leadership capabilities, and enable them to drive meaningful social change in their communities.
Our program also includes a Social Survival Skills Training initiative, a robust life skills package specifically crafted for in-school and out –of-school girls to foster their leadership potential and equip them with the tools needed to navigate the unique challenges of today's rapidly evolving world. This training is conducted in schools and communities across Kampala and the West Nile region, ensuring that girls from diverse backgrounds receive the support they need to live to their full potential.
Additionally, MEMPROW extends this vital training to child mothers (out-of-school) in the West Nile region, recognizing their unique experiences and providing them with the skills to rebuild their lives and lead with confidence.
At MEMPROW, we are committed to creating an environment where young women and girls are not only seen and heard but are also equipped with the expertise and resilience to lead and transform their communities. Our capacity-building efforts are rooted in feminist principles, ensuring that all participants are empowered to challenge systemic inequalities and advocate for their rights and the rights of others.
