Advocacy walk for Promoting Second Chance at Education for Child Mothers in Pakwach District

In Pakwach District, on 15th June 2024, MEMPROW facilitated together with other stakeholders including the District Local Government an advocacy walk promoting Second Chance Education for Child Mothers. This initiative aligned perfectly with the 2024 global theme for the Day of the African Child, "Education for all children in Africa: the time is now."

The walk provided a platform for key figures to address the critical issue of girl child education and the specific challenges faced by child mothers seeking to return to school. Speeches by prominent attendees highlighted the importance of collective action:

Conclusively, The event underscored the collective responsibility to ensure that all children, regardless of their background, have access to quality learning and development opportunities. Educating a girl child empowers herself, her family, and the nation as a whole.
